Jesse Jagz has always been one of Nigeria’s most intriguing artists, bold, creative, and unafraid to follow his own path.
These days, he lives quietly, away from social media, content with the peace that comes from silence. He reflects on what it means to live outside the noise, to choose calm over constant visibility, and to create from a place of truth.
From the early days of recording on cassette tapes to building a loyal audience that has stayed with him through every project, Jesse has always valued authenticity over fame. He knows he may never be as popular as some of his peers, but he is at peace with where he is and still feels there is more to do.
He spoke about the rift with Chocolate City, explaining that it was purely business and never personal. The relationships, he said, remain intact.
Jesse also shared his thoughts on growth, the pride and humility that come with manhood, and how love and fatherhood have shaped him. His daughter, he said, is one of his biggest inspirations.
He still dreams big, believing that someday he will bring home a Grammy to Jos.
This is Jesse Jagz, reflective, grounded, and completely at peace with his journey.
A man who continues to live fully and freely on his own terms.
