What does it mean to be told you may never have children?
For Hilda Dickson, it meant four years of trying, praying, and fighting for the impossible. Then, finally, a miracle arrived—her baby girl.

But less than 21 months later, that joy was threatened. Doctors suspected a bone infection. It turned out to be something much worse: stage 4 Neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer.

This is not a story about giving up. This is a story about survival.
Hilda’s daughter, the miracle they said wouldn’t come, the one they said wouldn’t stay—fought through endless rounds of chemotherapy and stem cell treatments.

She lost the only person she was responding to during her treatment. Yet, she held on. So did her mother.

How did they survive?
Where did the strength come from?
How did hope win, even when everything seemed lost?

Hilda’s journey reminds us that sometimes miracles come through fire. And sometimes, the fiercest warriors are the smallest among us.
