Chude Jideonwo to Moderate Special Fireside Chat at Access Bank’s International Women’s Day Conference
March 16, 2026 Dorcas

Media entrepreneur and storyteller Chude Jideonwo will serve as moderator for a special fireside chat at the upcoming International Women’s Day conference hosted by Access Bank Plc through its women-focused platform, The W Initiative. The conference, themed “Give to Gain,” is part of Access Bank’s broader commitment to advancing conversations around women’s economic participation, leadership, and growth. The gathering will convene leaders across policy, the creative industry, business, and social impact to explore how intentional leadership, mentorship, and advocacy can create pathways of opportunity for the next generation of women.

Scheduled to take place on March 26, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, the conference is expected to host over 500 participants, including industry leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and students from diverse sectors. Jideonwo will moderate a fireside conversation designed to explore leadership, purpose, and the evolving role of women in shaping economic and social transformation. Known for his deeply human-centered storytelling and thought-provoking conversations, Jideonwo’s work has consistently amplified narratives around identity, healing, ambition, and societal change. As moderator, he will guide an intimate dialogue with a distinguished speaker whose work has significantly expanded opportunities for women and young people.

The event will also feature notable speakers including theatre producer and cultural leader Bolanle Austen-Peters, Nigeria’s Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy Hannatu Musawa, and global executive and investor Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu. The conference aims to spark practical conversations on mentorship, leadership, and collaboration, encouraging women to not only rise but to create ladders for others to climb.

For Jideonwo, whose work across media, storytelling, and social advocacy continues to shape public conversations across Africa and beyond, the opportunity to guide this dialogue reflects a shared commitment to building a future where women’s voices, ideas, and leadership are fully recognised as engines of economic growth and social progress.
