As Africa moves towards a defining moment in the global workforce, media entrepreneur and storyteller Chude Jideonwo will join former Malawi President Dr. Joyce Banda and Fadl Al Tarzi, CEO of Nexford University, as a featured speaker at the upcoming NextGen Africa Workforce Webinar on September 16. The interactive panel, themed “The NextGen Advantage: Earn Your Degree with Mentorship Built In,” will bring together young Africans aged 18–40 to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of work across the continent.
Hosted by Fadl Al Tarzi, the 60-minute conversation will examine how AI and technological disruption are changing employability, why Africa is becoming increasingly important to the global workforce, and what it will take for young Africans to remain competitive in an increasingly connected world. Chude will bring his experience across media, storytelling, entrepreneurship and leadership to a conversation focused not only on what the future demands, but on the mindset, discipline, adaptability and courage young Africans need to build meaningful careers and lead in a rapidly changing world.
The webinar will also introduce the NextGen Africa Workforce Fellowship, a selective initiative designed to equip ambitious young Africans with globally relevant education, mentorship and leadership exposure. With opportunities for audience questions and direct engagement with the speakers, the session is designed to leave participants better informed, inspired to think bigger and more intentional about their growth, and better prepared to pursue global opportunities.
