withChude.com, the media-tech streaming platform for exclusive podcasts, documentaries, and factual films from Africa, has formally launched. It launched on Monday, August 5, after a period of beta testing.
“Two years of hard work has led us here,” said Dorcas Taiwo, who is product lead. “And we are extremely excited to be able to present Africa’s streaming platform—inspired by a singular voice.”
The site includes the full versions of the viral #WithChude show, other shows from the studio, including #ChudeExplains, #ChudesBookClub, and The Music Playlist, video masterclasses that focus on life issues from domestic violence to toxic religion, exclusive podcast versions, a daily mental and emotional health blog, and exclusive films and series.
“The films include the viral documentary on the Special Anti-Robbery Squad that we released free on YouTube for a week in 2022; a new updated version with extended interviews will relaunch this October,” Taiwo noted. “But we also announced our slate that includes blockbuster films and series including Rev. King: Nigeria’s Deadliest Cult Leader, The TikTok Scammer, and the very first of our slate on the streamer: Daniel vs. Ekweremadu.”
Through exclusive interviews, witness testimony, and never-heard-before revelations, Daniel vs. Ekweremadu tells the story of how Nigeria’s former deputy senate president ended up in British jail for human trafficking. It’s a two-part docu-series airing first on withChude.com.
