Chude Jideonwo to Speak at Nigeria Health Watch’s Solutions Journalism Summit in Abuja
November 11, 2025 Dorcas

Media entrepreneur, storyteller, and host of the award-winning show, #WithChude, Chude Jideonwo, will be delivering a keynote speech at the 2025 Solutions Journalism Summit organized by Nigeria Health Watch. The event, themed “Reframing Africa’s Narratives Through Solutions-Focused Storytelling,” will be held on November 15, 2025, at the Lake-Green Field Hotel, Kado, Abuja.

Chude will deliver a keynote presentation titled “How We Tell Stories Matters: The Cost of Africa’s Framing,” where he will be talking about how storytelling shapes perception, defines identity, and impacts the global understanding of Africa. Drawing from his years of experience creating narrative-driven impact through #WithChude and Fourthmainland Media, he will challenge participants to rethink how they tell African stories, not as tales of limitation, but as evidence of resilience, possibility, and human depth.

The summit will host over 270 participants, including journalists, editors, newsroom leaders, development partners, donors, and storytellers from across the continent. Alongside speakers such as Nina Fasciaux, Daniel Otneg, Fatima Alkali, Seun Durojaiye, and Patrick Gathara, the event will advance conversations on evidence-based reporting, cross-border collaboration, and media innovation. This year’s gathering will be focused on a shared mission, to strengthen impactful storytelling, foster trust, and inspire social change through the power of solutions journalism.
