Chude Jideonwo to Moderate at 15th iREPRESENT International Documentary Film Festival 2026
March 2, 2026 Dorcas

Media entrepreneur, host of the acclaimed show #WithChude and chair of Fourthmainland Fund, Chude Jideonwo, will be the moderator at the 15th edition of the iREPRESENT International Documentary Film Festival (iREP), scheduled to hold from March 18–22, 2026, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Organised by the Foundation for the Promotion of Documentary Films in Africa (FPDFA), this milestone anniversary marks fifteen years of advancing documentary filmmaking, critical reflection, and skills development across Africa. The 2026 theme, “Transformation,” reflects the festival’s continued exploration of storytelling as a force for cultural memory, identity, governance, and social change.

Jideonwo will moderate one of the festival’s featured conversations, bringing his signature emotional intelligence and depth to discussions on non-fiction storytelling. Through his work in film and digital media, including #WithChude and Fourthmainland Fund,  he has helped expand documentary beyond information into a space for reflection, healing, and cultural interrogation.

His participation shows the growing intersection between emotionally driven storytelling and Africa’s evolving documentary tradition, as iREP celebrates fifteen years of shaping the continent’s non-fiction landscape.
