Media entrepreneur, storyteller, and host of #WithChude, Chude Jideonwo, will be facilitating a special residency session for the F.R.A.M.E. Initiative, a non-profit platform focused on advancing gender equity and professional development for women in film and media.
The residency programme, curated by Brenda Uphopho and the F.R.A.M.E. team, is designed to equip emerging female creatives with practical skills, mentorship, and deeper industry insight through workshops, classes, and collaborative learning experiences. With a strong emphasis on practice-based storytelling and career development, the initiative seeks to strengthen the voices and opportunities available to women navigating the creative sector.
As part of the programme, Jideonwo will facilitate a virtual session titled “Docu-Drama & Crime: Research, Ethics, and True-Life Suspense,” scheduled for July 15–16, 2026. Drawing from his extensive work across journalism, documentary storytelling, and human-centered media, he will guide the participants through the complexities of adapting real-life stories with sensitivity, accuracy, and emotional depth. His session will explore the ethical responsibilities involved in telling true stories, the importance of rigorous research, and how creators can build compelling narratives without compromising humanity or truth.
